About the programme
Igniting sustainable growth and impact for small and medium enterprises in Bangladesh.
SPARK is designed for small and medium enterprises that want a proportionate, practical route into sustainable business practice. It recognises that SMEs face different constraints to large corporates — tighter resources, leaner teams and more immediate commercial pressure.
The programme helps participating businesses understand where sustainability intersects with their commercial priorities, take a first set of concrete actions, and begin reporting credibly to the buyers, lenders and partners who increasingly ask for it.
What it involves
- Introductory sessions on the Ten Principles and the SDGs framed for smaller businesses.
- Practical, low-overhead tools for assessment and reporting.
- Guidance on meeting the sustainability expectations of buyers and financiers.
- Connection into the wider GCNB member network.

Small and medium enterprises registered in Bangladesh, at any stage of their sustainability journey.
