About the programme
An accelerator that helps participating companies set and reach ambitious targets for women’s representation and leadership in business.
Target Gender Equality supports companies of the UN Global Compact in deepening the implementation of the Women’s Empowerment Principles and strengthening their contribution to Sustainable Development Goal 5 on gender equality.
Through the programme, companies assess where they stand today, set targets for women’s representation and leadership, and build a practical plan to close the gap — supported by facilitated learning, peer exchange and multi-stakeholder dialogue at the national level.
What it involves
- A structured performance analysis using the Women’s Empowerment Principles Gender Gap Analysis Tool.
- Facilitated workshops and capacity-building sessions run by the local network.
- Peer learning with other participating companies in Bangladesh and globally.
- Support in setting and publicly reporting corporate gender targets.
Who it is for
Companies at any stage of their gender equality work — from those setting a first baseline to those already reporting against targets.
